Gentle Yoga

Class will include seated meditation, pranayama (intentional breath work), gentle stretching and specific poses (asana). This class will have many modifications available to students. Students are encouraged to listen to their bodies and breath for guidance on what poses to explore in what ways. This isn’t a foundations-level class but will have many options for each pose to invite in many different experiences with yoga and preferences for class.

Recommended props:

  • Yoga mat (Or blanket or beach towel, preferably something that won't move around on the floor)
  • Blanket
  • Two yoga blocks (Or, large books, anti-bacterial wipe containers, cans of beans, anything else to use under hands to help reach the floor)
  • Yoga bolster (Or a firm pillow or two or a beach towel or two folded up)
  • Belt (Or dog leash, scarf, stretchy band)
